FA Cup Quarter-Final Draw: Fixtures and Key Details

The draw for the 2024-25 Football Association (FA) Cup quarter-finals has set up some exciting ties, with matches scheduled to take place over the weekend of 29 and 30 March.

The remaining teams will be battling for a place in the semi-finals, with each quarter-final winner receiving £450 000 in prize money. The draw was conducted at Old Trafford Stadium in Manchester, England, by former Manchester United defender Denis Irwin and ex-Fulham midfielder Danny Murphy on Sunday, 2 March.

Bournemouth will face defending champions Manchester City, who remain favourites to lift the trophy once again. Fulham, after their dramatic penalty shootout victory over Manchester United, will take on Crystal Palace in an all-London clash.

Championship side Preston North End, the lowest-ranked team left in the competition, will welcome Aston Villa to Deepdale as they look to continue their impressive cup run. Brighton, having secured a hard-fought 2-1 extra-time victory over Newcastle, will play either Nottingham Forest or Ipswich, depending on the outcome of their outstanding fifth-round fixture.

The exact schedule for the quarter-finals will be confirmed after discussions with clubs, broadcasters and local authorities. With several teams still chasing their first-ever FA Cup triumph, the competition remains wide open as the road to Wembley continues.
