Fulham Tables Offer for Andreas Pereira

Fulham FC have apparently submitted an offer to sign Manchester United midfielder, Andreas Pereira.

According to reports, the Cottagers – who were recently promoted to the English Premier League (EPL) – are looking to expand their midfield, and Pereira seems to be their prime target.

The 26-year-old, Belgium-born midfielder is currently on loan at Brazilian club, Flamengo, having scored seven goals in 52 games.

He is apparently set to hold talks with United manager, Erik ten Hag, about a possible return to the English club. However, the Red Devils are also open to hearing offers for him.

As such, Fulham have supposedly tabled a £8.6-million offer, which could rise to £11 million if “certain performance-related targets are met.”

Should Pereira agree, he could find himself back in the EPL very soon. As for Ten Hag, he’ll be able to use the funds generated from the midfielder’s sale to top up United’s summer budget, which reportedly ranges between £100 million and £120 million.
