Juventus: We Don’t Want to Sell Ronaldo
Juventus’ new sporting director, Federico Cherubini, has revealed that the club has no intentions of offloading Cristiano Ronaldo just yet, despite having only a few months remaining before his contract expiry.
During a press conference on Thursday, 1 July, Cherubini mentioned that the 36-year-old Portuguese international hasn’t given the club any sign of desire to leave, especially after having scored 36 goals in 44 games last season.
He added: “We don’t need to talk about a transfer and Juventus do not want to sell him.
Despite finishing fourth in the 2020/21 Serie A league season, Juve is still impressed by the forward’s great individual performance at the UEFA European Championship.
Portugal’ skipper has been linked with transfers to Manchester United and Paris Saint-Germain.
