Kodak Black’s Security Guard Shot
A security guard working for Kodak Black has undergone surgery after he was shot while on the job early on Monday morning, 5 April in Tallahassee, Florida.
The shooting occurred at 3AM at a McDonald’s parking lot, where the 23-year-old rapper and his entourage had driven to after noticing that they were being followed by several vehicles.
The vehicles had started tailing them after Black concluded his performance at Baja’s Beach Club.
A driver of one of these vehicles subsequently opened fire on the “Skrilla” hitmaker’s crew, hitting the unnamed security guard once in the leg, damaging his femoral artery. As for Black, he was whisked away to safety in an armoured car.
Per reports from Tallahassee police officers at the scene of the incident, the guard underwent surgery at a local hospital for major blood loss. He is now in a stable condition.
The investigation into the shooting continues.
