Liverpool Face Brighton in Final Away Game of the Season

Liverpool will travel to Brighton & Hove Albion tonight, Monday 19 May, for their final away game of the English Premier League (EPL) season, with little left to prove after clinching the title.
The Reds have relaxed their guard since securing the championship, which has been reflected in their 3-1 defeat to Chelsea and a chaotic 2-2 draw with Arsenal. However, the hosts will look to take advantage of the visitors’ lacklustre post-title performance, as they cling to slim hopes of European qualification.
Liverpool forward, Mohamed Salah, will make his 300th EPL appearance and could break records for most away goals and goal contributions in a season during the meeting.
The Reds’ defence has been shaky in recent matches, conceding goals in 10 of their last 12 league games, while Brighton have scored in five of their last six at home.
Forward Joao Pedro returns for Brighton after suspension, and Danny Welbeck’s goal-scoring form provides a real attacking threat. Liverpool’s rotation means players like Curtis Jones, Alexis Mac Allister and Kostas Tsimikas are likely to feature.
With both teams struggling defensively and a relaxed atmosphere surrounding the match, fans can expect plenty of goals at American Express Stadium in Brighton and Hove, England.
