Minki van der Westhuizen Celebrates 40 in Style

Minki van der Westhuizen is officially turning 40 years old today, Monday 26 February.

The model and television presenter marked the occasion with a luxurious Coachella-themed party in Stellenbosch, Western Cape on Saturday, 24 February, with a collection of her closest friends all dressed to the nines.

Van der Westhuizen stole the show in a jaw-dropping gold velvet evening dress designed by Stephen Van Eden. The Cape-Town-based fashion designer was clearly proud of his work as he took to Instagram to wish his beloved client a happy birthday.

“May you receive double the amount of favour for the next 40 years. Thank you for your loyal support and for always trusting me and my team! It is always a great privilege to conjure up a creation for you,” Van Eden captioned a photo of the former Pasella presenter.

The star reflected on her successes during a recent interview with a local publication, saying how proud she was of being a dedicated mother, a loving wife, and a successful businesswoman.

For van der Westhuizen, who has been in the entertainment industry since she was just 16 years old, it was a moment to celebrate two decades of success surrounded by friends, family, colleagues and other Mzansi icons.
