Nedbank Cup: Semi-Final Match-Ups Confirmed

The Nedbank Cup semi-finals are almost here, and the match-ups have been confirmed.
On Sunday, 9 March, the semi-final draw took place after Marumo Gallants defeated Durban City 4-1 on penalties.
Per the results of the draw, Gallants will take on Orlando Pirates, who triumphed over SuperSport United in a 5-4 penalty shootout the previous night, Saturday 8 March.
Meanwhile, Kaizer Chiefs – who beat Stellenbosch 3-1 on Saturday – are scheduled to face either reigning Premier Soccer League champions, Mamelodi Sundowns, or Sekhukhune United.
Sundowns and Sekhukhune were set to go head-to-head in the Nedbank Cup quarter-finals at Lucas Moripe Stadium in Pretoria, Gauteng (also on Saturday). However, the match was postponed due to a scheduling conflict at the stadium, as it coincided with the FIFA U17 Women’s World Cup qualifier between South Africa and Nigeria.
The match between the Brazilians and Matsatsantsa has been postponed to a later date; the winner will go on to compete against Chiefs in the Nedbank Cup semi-finals.
Details regarding the semi-final dates, venues and kick-off times will be announced soon.
