Nick Cannon: I’m Getting My Celibacy On

Seven babies later, Nick Cannon is about to give celibacy a shot.

In less than a single year, the “Wild ‘n Out” host has welcomed four children with three different women. In December 2020, he and Brittany Belland introduced Powerful Queen to the world. In June, Abby De La Rose blessed him with twin sons Zion and Zillion.

Later that month, the seventh addition – a baby boy named Zen – was born to Cannon and model Alyssa Scott.

During an interview with the “Drinks Champs” podcast last Friday, 1 October, Cannon – who is also father to 10-year-old twins Moroccan and Monroe, and four-year-old Golden – declared that he would stave off sexual intercourse until 2022.

The 40-year-old said: “I’m chillin’, I’m kind of stepping away, getting focused, going within, getting my celibacy on. I have enough children, enough frolicking, I’m good right now.”

Hosts DJ EFN and N.O.R.E. laughed off the announcement, prompting Cannon to reiterate: “Nah, y’all said I ain’t really. I’m saying I’m going in.”

Time will tell if Cannon will stick it out – no pun intended!
