Nicki Minaj Lashes Out After Her Arrest

Nicki Minaj is fuming after her recent arrest and it’s not just the authorities in her firing line.

The 41-year-old Trinidadian rapper – who is privately known as Onika Maraj-Petty – was taken into police custody in Amsterdam on Saturday, 25 May, just hours before she was scheduled to go on stage at the Co-op Live arena in Manchester, England.

The singer-songwriter documented her arrest on Instagram, leading to outrage from her followers who cried foul play.

She was fined €350 for allegedly transporting narcotics and released a few hours later, but unfortunately still missed the 20 000-person show and had to postpone the performance.

Meanwhile DJ Boof, Maraj-Petty’s on-tour deejay, shared a picture of him signing a fan’s chest via Instagram as the singer was getting arrested.

“I’m really famous,” the deejay – whose real name is Clyde Joseph Jr – said with a laughing emoji. “They asked me to sign their boobs,” he added.

A furious Maraj-Petty retweeted a screenshot of the photo on Monday, 27 May. “I promise I’ll fire him if I EVAHHHHH see this again. Df [sic],” she vowed.
