Phillips, Zwane to Miss Arrows-Chiefs Clash

Lamontville Golden Arrows will be without two players in their match against Kaizer Chiefs tomorrow afternoon, Saturday 29 March.
After beating the Soweto giants 1-0 in January, Arrows are looking to repeat their success when they clash at Moses Mabhida Stadium in Durban, KwaZulu-Natal.
However, Abafana Bes’thende will be missing two key players in the form of right-back Keenan Phillips and midfielder Nhlanhla Zwane, who are both suspended.
Both Phillips and Zwane received their fourth yellow cards of the season during a Betway Premiership match against Magesi FC two weeks ago, resulting in a one-match suspension for each player.
Despite their suspensions, the Durban-based team is favoured to secure a victory, as they are competing at home against the Chiefs, who have recorded a dismal 10 wins out of 28 matches in all competitions under coach Nasreddine Nabi this season.
What’s more, Arrows currently occupy 10th place on the Premier Soccer League rankings with 24 points – a mere two places behind Chiefs, who hold 29 points. As such, it is not unlikely that the former could overtake the latter in the standings with a win tomorrow.
Will Golden Arrows easily overcome the visitors, or will Kaizer Chiefs take advantage of their opponents’ two-man deficit and secure a much-needed victory? As always, watch this space!
