PSL Announce Promotion and Relegation Playoffs

The Premier Soccer League (PSL) has announced that the 2024/25 promotion-relegation playoffs will commence on Tuesday, 27 May 2025, and conclude on Saturday, 14 June 2025. 

This mini-league will determine which team secures a spot in the Betway Premiership for the upcoming season.

The three-team playoff will feature the 15th-placed team from the Betway Premiership and the second and third-placed teams from the Motsepe Foundation Championship. 

Cape Town City occupies the 15th spot in the Premiership standings, and they will be competing against Orbit College FC and Casric Stars.

Each team will play four matches in a round-robin format, with the top team earning a place in the Premiership for the 2025/26 season.
