PSL Clubs Eyeing Spurs’ Khaya Mfecane

Khaya Mfecane is looking for a new home in the Premier Soccer League (PSL).
According to reports, Mfecane will be available to join any club of his choice on a free transfer as Cape Town Spurs were recently relegated to the ABC Motsepe League, South Africa’s third-tier football league.
On numerous occasions, Spurs previously attempted to sell the 23-year-old defensive midfielder to other clubs. Presumably, however, his price tag of R5 million drove interested parties away.
Now that Mfecane can be signed on a free transfer, several clubs from the PSL – including the likes of Chippa United – are seeking to acquire his signature.
A source close to Chippa claims that Mfecane is already in advanced talks with the East London-based outfit about making a move ahead of the 2025/26 Betway Premiership season.
“It’s as good as done; just a few finer details and the deal is done,” the insider told a local media outlet on Sunday, 8 June.
Could we soon see Mfecane making his debut in white and orange colours? As always, watch this space!
