Raiola: Paul Pogba is Unhappy with Man United
The agent of Paul Pogba has declared that his client’s time at Manchester United is up.
Pogba – who joined the Red Devils from Juventus in 2016 for £94.5 million – is said to be unhappy at Old Trafford, and was apparently keen to leave the club during last year’s summer transfer window.
The 27-year-old French player’s agent, Mino Raiola, made the shocking admission while speaking to an Italian soccer outlet on Monday, 7 December – the day before Man United’s UEFA Champions League match against RB Leipzig.
He said: “[Pogba] is unhappy with Man United as he is no longer able to express himself in the way that he would like and as he is expected to. [Pogba] needs a new team, a change of air.”
Raiola added: “I think the best solution for both parties would be to sell him in the next transfer market.”
Pogba’s contract is due to expire in the summer of 2022, although time will tell if Man United will take Raiola’s advice by the next transfer window.
