Real Madrid: Another Exit Confirmed
The shopping cart of Real Madrid CF has been surprisingly empty during the summer transfer window, and now they have chalked up a fourth first-team departure.
The Spanish giants have waved goodbye to Japanese midfielder, Takefusa Kubo, as he will spend the new season as part of a loan transfer to Real Mallorca until 30 June next year.
News of the 20-year-old footballer’s move was confirmed via Los Piratas’ Twitter account on Wednesday, 11 August, through a “Welcome back” message – he previously played with the club during the 2019/20 season.
The most shocking transfer news came in June when previous skipper Sergio Ramos’ announced that his contract expired and would be joining Paris Saint-German, after spending 16 years with Real Madrid.
Last month saw a handful of player transfers: forward Brahim Diaz will be loaned out for a second time to AC Milan for two years, while centre-back Raphael Varane is joining Manchester United; goalie Diego Altube departed for second division Spanish team, CF Fuenlabrada.
Carlo Ancelotti’s management of his players can’t be faulted, as the club has managed to keep the books balanced during a time when other football teams are struggling with cash flow problems.
