Salah Signs New Liverpool Deal, Commits Until 2027

Mohamed Salah has committed himself to Liverpool by signing a new contract that keeps his boots at Anfield until 2027.

The 32-year-old Egyptian forward, who joined the Reds from Roma in 2017, ends months of uncertainty surrounding speculation about a possible move to the Saudi Pro League.

Salah has enjoyed a remarkable spell at the English Premier League (EPL) club, becoming the team’s third-highest all-time goalscorer with 243 goals in 394 appearances. This season alone, he has been instrumental in the team’s title push, netting 27 EPL goals and providing 17 assists.

The new deal is seen as a significant boost for manager Arne Slot, offering much-needed stability as Liverpool close in on a potential 20th league title.

The forward expressed his excitement at staying, adding: “I have played eight years here, hopefully it’s going to be 10. I’m enjoying my life here, enjoying my football. I have had the best years of my career here.”

The contract renewal also comes as the club looks to secure key players. Talks with captain Virgil van Dijk are said to be progressing well, though fellow star Trent Alexander-Arnold is reportedly close to a move to Real Madrid.

With Salah’s plans now settled, Liverpool can look ahead with confidence as they aim to maintain their status among Europe’s elite.
