Stellenbosch FC and Devin Titus Sign Long-Term Agreement
Stellenbosch FC recently announced that star winger Devin Titus has signed a new long-term contract extension.
The 24-year-old forward, a cornerstone of the club’s recent success, has committed his future to the Cape Winelands outfit as they enter a new era under head coach Gavin Hunt.
A proud product of the Stellies’ youth academy, Titus has enjoyed a meteoric rise since his professional debut in 2021. He has already amassed 152 appearances and scored 33 goals, making him the third-most-capped player in the side’s history.
“Stellenbosch FC is the club that gave me an opportunity to follow my dream… I’m very happy to have signed a new contract here,” Titus said after signing.
Titus’ resume is decorated with high-stakes achievements. He was the catalyst of Stellenbosch’s historic 2023 Carling Knockout triumph and was Player of the Tournament. He was named in the Nedbank Cup Team of the Season the following year.
His consistency was vital in guiding his team to consecutive MTN8 finals in 2024 and 2025, and securing CAF Confederation Cup qualification in back-to-back seasons. This domestic form eventually caught the eye of national team management, leading to his inclusion in the Bafana Bafana squad.
Retaining Titus is seen as a statement of intent for Stellenbosch, particularly following the recent departures of key players like Andre de Jong and Lehlohonolo Mojela.
