Tiktoker Wants Jub Jub to Pay Back the Money

Molemo “Jub Jub” Maarohanye has been criticised for not repaying the money he borrowed.

In an interview with a local media outlet (published on Thursday, 27 February), TikTok user Likhona Sukume alleged that Jub Jub borrowed R50 000 from him in October 2024, which the 44-year-old rapper used to help fund an event he had organised two months later in Mpumalanga.

Although Jub Jub promised to repay the loan, he has only returned R15 000, leaving an outstanding balance of R35 000.

“I could see this man was playing around,” explained Sukume. “I tried to communicate and when I did not get him on a call, I decided to make a voice note telling him I’m going to take legal action if he doesn’t pay back my entire amount. So, he gave me R15 000.”

“When I contacted him, he would get back to me perhaps after a day and tell me one of his stories.”

Sukume has since aired his grievances with Jub Jub on social media, demanding that the “Ndikokhele” hitmaker pay back the money.

Jub Jub has yet to publicly comment on the TikToker’s allegations.
