Trey Songz Involved in Sexual Assault Investigation

Trey Songz is being investigated for a sexual assault incident which took place over the weekend in Las Vegas, Nevada.

According to the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department, the “Na Na” hitmaker was celebrating his 37th birthday at Drai’s Nightclub last Saturday, 27 November.

Afterwards, Songz and his entourage brought back a group of women to The Cosmopolitan, a luxury hotel in South Las Vegas Boulevard. That is when the assault allegedly occurred, although details around the incident are scarce at this time.

The next day, a police report was filed, and the alleged assault is now being investigated by the department’s sex crimes division. According to them, Songz “is cooperating with the investigation” and that “no arrests have been made.”

This incident comes six months after a bartender accused Songz of punching him during a concert in May 2019. Additionally in January this year, the singer was arrested in Kansas City, Missouri, where he was involved in a physical altercation with police officers during a National Football League game. No charges were filed against him.
