Aaron Carter and Melanie Martin Break Up

Eight days after welcoming their first child together, Aaron Carter and his fiancee, Melanie Martin, have now broken up.

Last Monday, 22 November, the 33-year-old “Fool’s Gold” singer and the 29-year-old Instagram model – who had been engaged to each other since last year – announced that they had welcomed a son, Prince Lyric Carter.

But alas, come Tuesday, 30 November, Carter revealed on Twitter that he and Martin were going their “separate ways” because she communicated with his estranged twin sister, Angel Carter, presumably behind his back.

He elaborated in follow-up tweets: “[Martin] knew my boundaries and especially not to speak to a certain half of my family that tried to depict me as a crazy psychotic human being and a pedophile [sic].”

Two years ago, Angel and their older brother, Nick, took court action against the singer after he allegedly threatened to harm them, their spouses, and their children. He continues to deny the allegations.

Martin has since deleted her social media accounts following the break-up.
