4 Self-Care Tips
Whether it’s from work, family or from reading the daily news, you probably experience stress on a daily basis.
It’s important to remember to take care of yourself, and to find realistic, healthy ways to look after yourself.
Here are four ways you can practise self-care every single day:
1. Write yourself inspiring notes.
The next time someone sincerely thanks you for something, or you feel proud of yourself, write it down, and stick it up somewhere you can easily see it. Look at these notes as a daily reminder of your worth.
2. Edit your social media feeds.
Take out the people who only ever complain or post negative things. If you don’t want to delete them, you can just mute them.
3. Do a mini-meditation at least once a day.
Take just one minute to become aware of your thoughts, feelings, and the sensations around you. Then, take one minute to focus your attention on your breathing, and of how your body feels as a whole.
4. Be selfish.
Don’t be afraid to do one thing a day just because it makes you happy, even if it’s just eating a chocolate or turning your phone off for five minutes.
