In Hollywood, what is age but only a number? Many celebs couples have fallen in love and gotten hitched without letting their ages get in the way of their happiness.
Here are five celebrity couples who have a significant age gap between them:
Jay-Z and Beyonce – 12 Years
Beyonce is 12 years younger than Jay-Z, whom she began dating in 2000 when she was 20-years-old (and he was 32-years-old). In 2008, the songstress and the rapper wed each other, and they have since welcomed three children: Blue Ivy, and twins Sir and Rumi.
Deborra Lee-Furness and Hugh Jackman – 13 Years
The longtime acting couple first met on the set of Australian television series, “Correlli”, in 1995: Lee-Furness was 40-years-old at the time, while her future husband was 27-years-old. A year later, they got married and went on to adopt two children together.
George and Amal Clooney – 17 Years
When the “Gravity” actor – and longtime bachelor – announced his engagement to the beautiful human rights lawyer in 2014, he was 52-years-old and she was 35-years-old. Three years later, they welcomed twins Ella and Alexander.
Jason Statham and Rosie Huntington-Whitely – 20 Years
Twenty years separate the action star and the model, who have been together since 2010. When they got engaged in 2016, Statham was 49-years-old at the time, while Huntington-Whitely was 29-years-old. They welcomed a son named Jack a year later.
Sean Penn and Leila George – 32 Years
The “Milk” actor – who was previously married to Madonna, as well as actress Robin Wright – was first romantically linked with his third wife in 2016: at the time, he was 56-years-old, while George was 24-years-old. In July 2020, they married in a private ceremony.
