Arsenal Gun for RB Leipzig Striker

Arsenal are reportedly preparing a major summer move for RB Leipzig striker, Benjamin Sesko, but the Bundesliga club have set a staggering €110-million price tag for the youngster.
The 21-year-old Slovenian forward, who netted 21 goals across all competitions this season, is under contract until 2029, making negotiations particularly tricky.
Despite their interest, Arsenal’s transfer focus may have shifted: the Gunners are also strongly pursuing Sporting CP’s Viktor Gyokeres, who had a prolific 54-goal season, including a UEFA Champions League hat-trick against Manchester City last November.
The English side have tabled a €70-million bid for Gyokeres as he is considered a more financially viable option due to his experience and staggering output.
Arsenal’s Sporting Director, Andrea Berta, is apparently leading efforts to sign one of the two forwards as the club seeks to bolster their attack, with manager Mikel Arteta confirming the club’s intent to spend big.
As football franchises manoeuvre during the trading window, what will matter most is who is willing to spend more in order to attract the talent they need. For Arsenal, bolstering their competitive edge will be Arteta’s primary focus, while ensuring his men are up to snuff for next season.
