Bongani Mthombeni-Moller and Matthew Booth Are Instagram Official

Retired footballer Matthew Booth and Bongani Mthombeni-Moller seem to be ready to share snaps of their illicit romance on social media for all the world to see.

The couple made waves when gossip monger, Musa Khawula, shared a picture of the two via Twitter today, Wednesday 10 January, as they were dressed to the nines and on their way to attend a wedding together.

According to reports, the pair attended the wedding of Mthombeni-Moller’s “sister” Bronwyn Gavine and husband Evan in December. However, due to Moller’s Instagram privacy settings, the pictures only surfaced now.

The sight of the loved-up couple has seemingly confirmed the wild rumours that have swirled around the two after Booth’s estranged wife, Sonia, exposed him for cheating in November 2022.

At the time, the “cheesecake saga” – which had been named as such after Sonia revealed Mattew had baked a cheesecake for his mistress on the eve of their son’s birthday – set tongues wagging for many people in Mzansi.

Both Matthew and Mthombeni-Moller have denied the affair but that didn’t stop Sonia from filing for divorce that same month. As of yet, Matthew and Sonia have not reached a settlement.
