Britney Spears Unimpressed with Settlement

Britney Spears and her father, Jamie Spears, have reached a settlement in her conservatorship case and the singer is less than happy with the outcome.

“There has been no justice and probably never will be!!!,” the 42-year-old pop star said in a post via Instagram on Sunday, 28 April. “I have to get acupuncture [sic] every day of my life now !!!,” she added with a photo of her bare backside.

“If people only knew how ive [sic] had to crawl to my own door one time !!!,” she continued before concluding: “My family hurt me!!!”

According to reports, the “Toxic” hitmaker deleted her Instagram account less than 24 hours later, but by Tuesday, 30 April, she was already back on the social media platform, posting pictures of herself on a horse ride.

While the conservatorship was terminated in November 2021, the pair have still been entangled in an ongoing dispute over attorney’s fees and accusations of improper behaviour while the conservatorship was in place.

The trial had been scheduled to begin this week but a last-minute agreement between the two parties was reached last week, circumventing what could have been yet another long, drawn-out legal battle.

The terms of the settlement have not been disclosed to the public.
