Clubs Scramble to Secure Conor Gallagher

Chelsea are expecting multiple offers for their star midfielder, Conor Gallagher, as he draws demand from several high-profile English clubs.

Gallagher has been consistently well-ranked by the Blues, but complying with the English Premier League’s (EPL) Profitability and Sustainability rules means they will have to offload the 24-year-old.

Meanwhile, the race to sign the footballing talent has intensified as Manchester United joins Aston Villa, Tottenham Hotspur and Atletico Madrid to score him in the transfer window.

United are keen to beef up their midfield, which has needed attention since the start of the last season. The Spaniards are also looking for centre-field firepower, but might not be willing to part with £50 million as per Chelsea’s recent valuation of Gallagher.

Villa have seen their star rising over recent years, and adding another star to their galaxy of emerging success could continue that trend; rumour has it that Unai Emery and Blues management have been in talks, but nothing concrete has emerged as of yet.

The end of the month will show who gets the final say, but expect Chelsea to make the sale before 30 June.
