Demi Lovato and Ariana Grande Ditch Manager

Iconic singers Demi Lovato and Ariana Grande have both allegedly ditched their long-term manager, Scooter Braun, and are on the lookout for new representation.

An international publication shared the news on Monday, 21 August, that both performers had cut ties with Braun and his company, SB Projects. Last week, rumours circulated that Justin Bieber is also interested in leaving the agency, but his and Braun’s representatives have dismissed the idea.

Lovato joined SB Projects in 2019 as she began to relaunch her career after her near-fatal overdose in 2018. According to reports, the 31-year-old “Heart Attack” hitmaker left the agency last month, but she and Braun are believed to still be on good terms.

Grande, on the other hand, joined the company ten years ago, in 2013, when her career first began to kick off. It’s unclear why the 30-year-old “Into You” singer decided to end her decade-long contract with her manager, but fans are hoping it won’t impact the release of a deluxe 10th-anniversary edition of “Yours Truly” on Friday, 25 August.

Braun seems to be on the outs with several Hollywood A-listers, as his long-running public feud with songstress Taylor Swift still garners interest from the press. Swift and Braun went to war over the legal rights to her music in 2019.

Let’s hope Lovato and Grande won’t need to fight similar battles!
