Donovan Goliath Weds Davina Gordon

Donovan Goliath is officially off the market!

The 38-year-old comedian first met 35-year-old musician (and soon-to-be mother), Davina Gordon, five years ago at a bar in Johannesburg after being introduced by a mutual friend.

Taking to Instagram on Wednesday, 19 May, Goliath posted a photo from their special day, which took place the day before – 18 May also marked the five-year anniversary of their relationship.

The photo shows the couple – him wearing a black tuxedo, and her wearing a short veil and billowing wedding dress, which showcased her burgeoning baby bump – sharing a kiss as the sun sets in the background.

In the caption, Goliath wrote: “Time to change your Instagram handle, Mrs Goliath.”

According to the funnyman, the wedding took place in the backyard of Gordon’s sister’s Melville home with only a few guests in attendance.

He explained: “Initially we were just going to get married in court, but it felt a little cold and impersonal. So we arranged for a marriage officiant to conduct the ceremony with Davina’s sister and brother-in-law as our witnesses.”
