Jamie Foxx’s Health Troubles Attract Conspiracy Theories

Jamie Foxx’s representative has issued a statement dismissing speculation that his recent hospitalisation was related to a coronavirus vaccine he had previously received.

The “Spider-Man: No Way Home” actor experienced an undisclosed “medical complication” and was hospitalised in early April while working on the Netflix action flick, “Back in Action” in Georgia, USA. He was discharged the following month and has been recuperating since.

However, a conspiracy began on 30 May, claiming that the 55-year-old actor had been left “partially paralysed and blind” from a stroke caused by a blood clot after he was vaccinated.

The allegation, backed up by a source “in the room” when Foxx was hospitalised, was made by gossip columnist Alfred Joseph Benza during an interview with host Doctor Drew Pinksy on the podcast, “Ask Dr Drew” on Saturday, 3 June.

Foxx’s representatives issued a media statement on Wednesday, 7 June, rubbishing the claims, calling them “completely inaccurate”.

Only time will tell when the professional and private actor will speak up regarding his health troubles in the future.
