Jeezy, Jeannie Mai Welcome New Baby

Jeezy and Jeannie Mai have welcomed their first child together.

Last February, the “Therapy For My Soul” rapper – real name Jay Wayne Jenkins – and “The Real” co-host endured a tragedy when the latter suffered a miscarriage a month before they got married. Seven months later, they announced that they were expecting a baby.

On Tuesday, 11 January, Mai revealed on Instagram that their baby had arrived. She uploaded a photo from the delivery room, which showcased the newborn’s blanket with a footprint pattern.

“I asked God for a life of love and happiness. He sent me my family,” she captioned the photo. “Baby Jenkins is here.”

The baby was conceived naturally, shortly after the couple began in vitro fertilisation treatments. No name for the child has been revealed yet.

This is the first child for Mai, and the fourth one for Jeezy: he has three children – Jadarius, Shyheim and Amra – from previous relationships.
