Kanye West: Billie Eilish Must Apologise to Travis Scott
Kanye “Ye” West won’t perform at the Coachella music festival in April until fellow headliner, Billie Eilish, apologises for seemingly taking a potshot at Travis Scott.
Last Saturday, 5 February in Atlanta, Georgia, Eilish stopped performing midway through her show to assist a distressed fan who was having difficulty breathing.
In the moment, the singer is heard saying, “We’re taking care of our people, hold on. I wait for people to be okay until I keep going.”
On Thursday, 10 February, Ye posted a screenshot of a headline which claimed that Eilish dissed Scott, who was embroiled in controversy last November when eight fans were trampled to death during his Astroworld festival performance.
“Come on Billie we love you,” Ye wrote in the caption in all-capitals. “Please apologize to Trav and to the families of the people who lost their lives. No one intended this to happen [sic].”
“Trav didn’t have any idea of what was happening when he was on stage,” he went on, “and was very hurt by what happened. And yes Trav will be with me at Coachella but now I need Billie to apologize before I perform [sic].”
Neither Eilish nor Scott have commented on the rapper’s rant.
