Kendrick Lamar Disses Drake in New “Euphoria” Verse

If you thought Drake and Kendrick Lamar had squashed their beef, then you may be mistaken after watching Lamar’s latest concert.

For years, the two rappers have been feuding with each other. Then, from March to May 2024, it culminated in the pair trading shots at each other in the form of diss tracks, from Drake accusing Lamar of infidelity in “Family Matters”, to Lamar accusing Drake of engaging in relationships with underage girls in “Not Like Us.”

The feud seemed to end after that, but Lamar still appears to be on the warpath: on Wednesday night, 19 June, during his “Pop Out” concert in Los Angeles, California, the 37-year-old took a potshot at his Canadian foe.

Opening the set with “Euphoria”, Lamar notably dropped a new verse: “I’m knowin’ they call you The Boy, but where is a man? / ’Cause I ain’t see him yet / Give me Tupac ring back and I might give you a lil’ respect.”

Last year, Drake bought a ring that belonged to the late hip hop legend, Tupac Shakur.

Clearly, Lamar’s jab was a direct reference to this move, implying that Drizzy is not deserving of the respect he claims to have in the hip hop industry.

While Drake has yet to respond, fans are eagerly awaiting to see if this feud will continue or if the two will eventually bury the hatchet.
