Miley Cyrus Engaged to Musician Maxx Morando

Pop star Miley Cyrus has confirmed her engagement to her partner of four years, drummer Maxx Morando.

The 33-year-old three-time Grammy winner prompted speculation after she appeared on the red carpet for the Hollywood premiere of “Avatar: Fire and Ash” in Los Angeles, California, wearing a custom-made cushion-cut diamond ring set in a chunky 14-karat gold band.

She later revealed the news, noting that Morando had popped the question during a recent trip to Asia.

Cyrus shared her astonishment at the success of their low-key relationship, recently telling an international outlet: “For us, our privacy and us kind of keeping it small has been something that I’ve been astounded that I’ve actually been able to have.”

The development follows the reconciliation between Cyrus and her father, Billy Ray Cyrus, who offered his congratulations on social media. The father and daughter had previously been estranged but that changed in May this year.

Miley – whose previous marriage to actor Liam Hemsworth ended in 2019 – praised her fiance: “Me and Max have been together for four years and it’s very obvious the drastic amount of growth that I’ve had in those four years.”
