Modelling Icons Get Their Own Series

The women who embodied the term “supermodel” in the ‘90s are returning to strut their stuff for a new docu-series.

The four-part program will air on the video streaming service, Apple TV+, later this month, and will feature the likes of Cindy Crawford, Christy Turlington, Linda Evangelista and Naomi Campbell.

The series will focus on these four models, who were the beauty standard for the decade after rising to fame in the late ‘80s, all while developing strong connections with one another. Their stories will include personal insights about how their lives changed after reaching modelling stardom, and interviews with big names in the fashion world such as the late Donatella Versace, Vivienne Westwood and Calvin Klein.

Intimate hardships will also be shared, such as Evangelista’s weight battles and Campbell missing out on opportunities due to racial discrimination.

The trailer for “The Super Models” includes George Michael’s iconic music video for “Freedom! ‘90”, which features the four beauties.
