Naomi Campbell, 50, Welcomes Baby Girl

Fans were in for a surprise when Naomi Campbell confirmed that she has become a mother for the first time.

Taking to Instagram yesterday, Tuesday 18 May, the 50-year-old British supermodel posted a photo of her hand cradling her baby girl’s tiny feet. In the caption, she wrote: “A beautiful little blessing has chosen me to be her mother.”

Campbell continued: “So honoured to have this gentle soul in my life, there are no words to describe the lifelong bond that I now share with you, my angel. There is no greater love.”

Details about her bundle of joy – including her name, birth date, and if she was perhaps born via surrogacy – have not been revealed yet.

Congratulatory messages from fans and celebs have since poured in for the supermodel.

Designer Marc Jacobs, for whom she has modelled, wrote in the comments: “How lucky she is and how lucky you are! What a wonderful Mother [sic] you will be. Blessings all around.”

A fan on Twitter commented: “Naomi Campbell is the mother of a new baby girl. That baby is about to have the BADDEST FIRST STEPS IN HISTORY [sic].”
