Ruibal: Real Betis United and Ready to Win

Real Betis FC right-back, Aitor Ruibal, is confident in his team’s ability to win the UEFA Europa Conference League final.

Tomorrow night, Wednesday 28 May, Los Verdiblancos and Chelsea FC will go head-to-head at Wrocław Stadium in Wrocław, Poland.

In an interview with UEFA (published on Monday, 26 May), Ruibal said that Real Betis will be going into the match with a combined sense of unity, determination and efficiency.

“We are a very united team in the changing room,” the 29-year-old Spaniard explained. “It’s like a family, and I think that’s key. Ultimately, we have a lot of very experienced players who know what it takes.

“We are very direct and efficient at taking our chances, and we need to make the most of that because the players in our team – such as Antony, Isco, Abde [Ezzalzouli], Jesus [Rodriguez] and Baka [Cedric Bakambu] – don’t tend to waste their chances.”

Overall, Ruibal is excited at the prospect of Real Betis bringing the trophy back home to their ardent fans in Spain.

“Experiencing something like that would be incredible, something truly unforgettable, and I want to be there – I want to give everything to make that victory and that title a reality for the fans,” he said.
