Spurs Coach to Gunners Chief Mikel Arteta: Stop Whinging

Tottenham Hotspur understood the stakes and brought home a 3-0 victory over Arsenal last night, Thursday 12 May, and gave them hope for a chance at the English Premier League (EPL) title this season.

Tottenham Hotspur Stadium in northern London witnessed a gutsy performance from the home team as they faced a crucial game in order to crack the final four in the EPL – bravely facing the cruel joke that Antonio Conte’s men choke under pressure, too.

Spurs vice-skipper, Harry Kane, put his side first up on the board with a converted penalty in the 22nd minute – a penalty that left Gunners boss, Mikel Arteta, complaining about referee Paul Tierney’s “shameful” call.

Eleven minutes later, the 40-year-old Spaniard’s blood pressure was pushed even higher when one of his men, Rob Holding, received a second yellow card for a foul on Son Heung-min; not to mention Kane struck again shortly after to put Tottenham two goals up without reply.

Son completed Arsenal’s sound beating with a third goal at the 47th minute, and the rest of the game had the visitors making one attempt after the other in order to climb back into the game, but to no avail.

In a post-match interview, Conte bluntly said: “[Arteta] just started to do this job and I think that I hear him complain a lot. I think that he needs to be more focused on his team and not to complain.”
