Tom Hanks’ Son Sued for $1 Million

The ex-girlfriend of Chet Hanks has launched a lawsuit against him for allegedly abusing her during their relationship.

Kiana Parker dated Hanks – the 30-year-old son of actors Tom Hanks and Rita Wilson – from March 2019 to January 2021.

Now, at a press conference in Texas on Tuesday, 13 April, Kevin Murray – a lawyer representing Parker – revealed that his client was planning to sue her ex-boyfriend for approximately $1 million after he directed both physical and verbal abuse at her.

Per court documents filed the day before in Fort Bend County, Hanks allegedly applied brute force on – and aimed derogatory words at – Parker while staying together at a New Orleans hotel last October.

In January this year, Parker filed a restraining order against Hanks a few weeks after they got into a fight at his Sugarland, Texas home. The alleged incident saw him accusing her of stealing his money and credit cards while threatening her with a knife, and saw her hitting him with a pot.

Hanks’ legal team has denied Parker’s claims, and are planning to sue her over the January incident.
