– British video game developer, Creative Assembly, has revealed that a sequel to “Alien: Isolation” is in the early stages of development. This announcement comes just after the first-person horror game marked its 10-year anniversary on 6 October 2024.
– Sony has confirmed that “LittleBigPlanet 3”, along with all its DLC, will be permanently removed from the PlayStation Network Store on 31 October 2024. Ongoing technical and hacking challenges led to the decision to delist the puzzle platformer. However, players who currently own a copy of the game will still have access to play it after the removal date.
– Canadian voice actor Doc Harris, known for being the original English narrator of the anime series, “Dragon Ball Z”, has died at the age of 76. Harris passed away last Saturday, 5 October. The cause of death remains unknown, though it was reported that he had undergone minor surgery the previous month.
– A US judge has ordered that Google must include third-party Android app stores in the Play Store and provide these stores with complete access to Google Play’s app catalogue for at least three years. Google plans to appeal the verdict.
