Ye Wants to End Feud With Drake
Ye wants to bury the hatchet with his fellow rapper and longtime rival, Drake.
The duo have been feuding since 2018 when the former’s protege, Pusha T, revealed on his song, “The Story of Adidon”, that Drake had fathered a son in secret.
The artist formerly known as Kanye West appeared in an Instagram video by music executive producer James Prince – which the latter posted on Monday, 8 November – whereby he appealed to Drizzy to put their beef behind him.
The 44-year-old “Donda” rapper said: “I am making this video to address the ongoing back and forth between myself and Drake. Both me and Drake have taken shots at each other and it is time to put it to rest.”
Ye then invited the “Hotline Bling” hitmaker to appear onstage as a special guest at an event on 7 December in Los Angeles, California, to get convicted felon Larry Hoover released from federal prison.
Ye said: “I believe this event will not only bring awareness to our cause, but prove to people everywhere how much more we can accomplish when we lay our pride to the side and come together.”
Drake has yet to respond to his offer.
