Amanda Du-Pont Accuses Jub Jub of Rape

Actress Amanda Du-Pont has accused singer Molemo “Jub Jub” Maarohanye of raping her over a two-year period.

Appearing on an episode of MacG’s podcast, “Podcast And Chill” – which premiered on Channel O on Wednesday, 1 December – Jub Jub said that he was in a three-year relationship with Du-Pont when she was studying at AFDA years ago. He then cheated on her with songstress Kelly Khumalo.

The next day, Du-Pont posted an emotional response to Jub Jub: uploading an 18-minute video to Instagram, she directly accuses him of raping and emotionally abusing her for two years.

She said: “Please don’t make it sound like it was a relationship. I was absolutely afraid to leave … you made me believe my life was in danger if I spoke up.”

In the caption, the “Shadow” actress wrote: “[Jub Jub] and Mac G saw it fit to drag my name on their podcast for clout at the cost of amplifying a Gender Based Violence Case [sic]. Any Attorney that can help me with a cease and decease [sic] letter or help with dealing with this man legally, please reach out.”

Jub Jub has since been suspended by Moja Love as the host of the popular show, “Uyajola 9/9”, pending the allegations.
