Ariana Grande, Dalton Gomez Finally File for Divorce

Ariana Grande seems ready to move on from her soon-to-be-ex-husband, Dalton Gomez, as the pair simultaneously filed for divorce after several months of separation.

The former couple filed their respective paperwork at the Los Angeles County court in California on Monday, 18 September. The 30-year-old songstress entered first, with the 28-year-old real estate agent following immediately afterwards in what has been labelled a coordinated effort.

Grande’s lawyer, Laura Wasser, reportedly cited “irreconcilable differences” as the cause for the divorce in the court documents – the couple had been married for just two years.

News first broke that the pair had broken up in July, when Grande was spotted without her wedding ring while attending the Wimbledon tournament in London, England. However, according to the newly submitted petition, the two have been separated since late February.

At the time, an unnamed insider told an international publication that the break-up was amicable and that they “have nothing but kind words” to say about each other.

Since their break up, Grande is believed to be dating her “Wicked” co-star, Ethan Slater. Slater also filed for divorce from his high school sweetheart, Lilly Jay, after five years of marriage.
