Blockbuster Clash: Man City vs Liverpool Preview

The mouth-watering clash between Premier League reigning champions, Manchester City, and last season’s runners-up, Liverpool, is set to take place on Sunday, 3 October, and the football world is divided by predictions.

It’s a blockbuster showdown at Anfield this weekend as these two EPL giants, who are occupying the current season’s top two positions, lock horns.

​​Football expert and columnist, Jamie Redknapp, believes that Liverpool forward, Mohammed Salah, is in his greatest form and therefore will give Man City a run for their money.

However, English football pundit, Paul Merson, says the clash will end in a draw – due to City’s lack of midfielders – but Liverpool will fail to win the game.

The Reds have suffered a setback as Trent Alexander-Arnold and Thiago Alcantara are set to miss the clash due to injury.

Jurgen Klopp has won five, while Pep Guardiola has won only four of their last thirteen games.
