Bradley Olivier, 36, Passes Away
The entertainment industry has lost yet another star in the form of “Binnelanders” actor Bradley Olivier.
The 36-year-old was best known for playing Danny Jantjies on the popular Afrikaans soapie.
On Thursday evening, 20 July, family spokesperson Solomon Cupido issued a statement on his Facebook profile, in which he confirmed Olivier’s “peaceful” passing that same day at Life Flora Hospital in Johannesburg, Gauteng where he was on life support after his admittance three days earlier.
“It is with a heavy heart that we announce the passing of Bradley Terence Olivier,” the statement reads. “Bradley has been an extraordinary presence in our lives, known for his talent, achievements and dedication to his craft. He has touched the hearts of many around the country, leaving an indelible mark on the industry and the community.”
The cause of his ailment has not been confirmed.
Thanking the medical staff for their “dedication and professional care”, while also asking for privacy on behalf of Olivier’s family, Cupido added: “Bradley Olivier’s legacy will live on through his body of work, which has touched countless lives and will continue to inspire future generations.
“We kindly request that you celebrate his life by remembering the joy and happiness he brought to the world.”
Rest in peace, good sir, you will be very much missed.
