Celeb Twitter Round-Up: Tweeps Can’t Get Enough of Nandi Madida and Zakes Bantwini
Mzansi Twitter can be a toxic place sometimes (if not ALL the time), but even once in a while, they like to embrace some wholesome moments – especially when Nandi Madida and Zakes Bantwini are involved!
At the 2023 edition of the South African Music Awards (SAMAs), which was held in Pretoria, Gauteng last Friday, 17 November, Bantwini – alongside Wouter Kellerman and Nomcebo Zikode – were each honoured with the International Achievement Award for their Grammy award-winning song, “Bayethe”.
Because Bantwini was out of town during the ceremony, his wife Madida accepted the award on his behalf. However, her acceptance speech was suddenly cut short … in fact, she just about greeted the audience when it was onto announcing the next award!
Despite the mishap, the actress/songstress took it all in her stride. She uploaded a short lil’ video clip of herself greeting her hubby, who returned home from Miami, Florida not long after the flub occurred:
“How did it go?” Bantwini is heard repeatedly asking a giggling Madida, while also complimenting her on her “amazing” SAMAS dress (courtesy of Juan William Aria).
Over on Twitter, tweeps couldn’t help but fawn over Madida’s beauty and Bantwini’s awestruck state (plus bless the latter’s luck at bagging a beauty like her). They also praised the relationship as a whole:

Also, shoutout to the SAMAs for making that flub in the first place so that we can witness Mzansi Twitter in a positive mood for once!
