Celeb Twitter Round-Up: Twitter Sounds Off on Kelly Khumalo Pregnancy Rumours

Kelly Khumalo is back in the news again, and it’s not because of the Senzo Meyiwa murder trial. (More on that later, though!)

It all started when Khumalo posted this video clip to her Instagram page on Wednesday, 14 September, in which she is seen jamming alongside staff members and fans at a Shoprite store in promotion of her upcoming “From A God to A King” music tour:

However, eagle-eyed fans zoomed on her belly:

To all appearances, it looks like a baby is on the way for the 37-year-old “Asine” hitmaker.

Almost immediately, tweeps flooded the timeline to express their surprise:

Many tweeps started speculating about the identity of the father, ranging from soccer player (and Khumalo’s alleged flame) Mthokozisi Yende to Mthokozisi Twala, one of Senzo Meyiwa’s longtime friends:

@krugersville was wondering the same thing, albeit for all the wild yet worrying reasons:

(ICYDK, Khumalo shares a daughter with Meyiwa – who was fatally shot at her Vosloorus home in 2014 – and a son with rapper Jub Jub, who was imprisoned for the murder of four school children in a 2010 drag-racing accident, and has also been accused of sexual and physical abuse.)

Meanwhile, people who believe that Khumalo was somehow involved in killing Meyiwa – whether it be pulling the trigger herself or shielding the shooter’s identity, all accusations that she has denied – reckon her “pregnancy”, legit or not, is her way of being prevented from testifying in court:
