Dr Musa Mthombeni Proposes to Liesl Laurie

Ladies and gentlemen, Dr Musa Mthombeni has officially put a ring on it!

The 31-year-old television presenter and professional doctor confirmed the exciting news via a few photos posted to his Instagram account on Sunday, 27 June.

Uploading pics from his recent vacation in Durban, one pic shows Dr Mthombeni going down on one knee in front of his stunned girlfriend, Liesl Laurie – AKA Miss South Africa 2015 – on a grassy mountaintop.

He captioned the pic: “Someone’s fiance.”

Another photo – captioned “Bugs Bunny” – shows a close-up of the good doctor clasping Laurie’s hands. Of course, it also shows off the impressive stone on the radio presenter’s engagement ring.

Speaking to her Jacaranda FM colleagues about the engagement on Monday, 28 June, Laurie tearfully gushed: “I can’t even talk … for this to happen to me [during these tough times] by a man who is just so incredible and probably one of my best friends … it’s just so well-timed as well.”
