Gio Reyna to Play in Dortmund-PSG Clash

Borussia Dortmund are scheduled to take on Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) in a UEFA Champions League (UCL) clash today, Tuesday 19 September, and they’ve got an ace in the hole in the form of midfielder Gio Reyna.

Back in May, Reyna was put on the shelf after he sustained a calf injury while on duty for the United States men’s national soccer team.

Now, after four months on the sidelines, reports indicate that the 20-year-old – who, two weeks ago, posted an update of himself in training – has recovered enough to partake in today’s UCL match against PSG at Parc des Prince in Paris, France.

One such report claims that Reyna travelled to Paris yesterday (Monday, 18 September) with his Dortmund teammates.

Skilled at setting up the ball and maintaining a consistent pace, Reyna is undoubtedly one of the finest talents to ever hail from the USA, which is probably one of the reasons why he’s back with Die Schwarzgelben so soon.
