Hey Neighbour Festival Pushed to December 2025

The “Hey Neighbour Festival”, initially set for August 2025, has been postponed to December, sparking both disappointment and confusion among fans.
Organisers announced that the shift comes as part of a broader strategic review aimed at securing the festival’s long-term future.
The event had promised a stellar line-up featuring Doja Cat, Central Cee, Black Coffee and Leon Thomas. However, the abrupt change has left ticket holders uncertain, particularly after Black Coffee was added to the line-up just days before the announcement.
Glen Netshipise, CEO of Hey Neighbour, acknowledged the frustration in a statement to a local publication on Thursday, 3 July: “We understand the impact this has on our loyal festival-goers, sponsors, and artists.”
“We also recognise that our communication around the challenges we’ve faced hasn’t been as clear as it should have been, and for that, we sincerely apologise,” he added.
All tickets will remain valid for the December dates, with refunds available until 10 October 2025. A fully updated line-up is expected to be announced on 30 September.
In the meantime, organisers say they are securing new partnerships, confirming artist availability, and planning an even stronger line-up.
Fans are encouraged to follow the festival’s official channels for updates as preparations continue for a reimagined December edition.
