Iker Bravo Has “Already Signed” with Udinese
Iker Bravo has big plans after leading Spain to a stunning 2024 UEFA European Under-19 Championship win.
On Sunday, 28 July, the 19-year-old – who proved his mettle on the pitch throughout the entirety of the competition – scored in the Spaniards’ 2-0 victory over France in the final.
As a result, Bravo was named “Player of the Tournament” by UEFA in recognition of his outstanding performances. And now, with the championship behind him, he’s looking to the future.
Speaking to an international soccer outlet on Monday, 29 July, Bravo confirmed that he is officially heading to Italian club, Udinese, after being sold by Bayer Leverkusen.
“I have already signed,” he said. “Tomorrow, I have a medical examination with Udinese. I hope to join the team this Friday or Saturday so I can start work on the next Serie A season.”
During the 2023/24 season, Udinese ranked 15th in Serie A; with Bravo set to join the team, there are high hopes for the Bianconeri to claw their way out from the bottom of the table and rise to the top in the upcoming season.
