Inter Milan Try Again For Romelu Lukaku With £26m Deal
Inter Milan are adamant to get Romelu Lukaku back, and have offered Chelsea even more money to seal the deal.
The English football club snubbed Inter’s initial offer of £21 million as “unacceptable”, but according to sources, the second offer would be £5 million more, including bonuses with no further loan agreements for the 30-year-old Belgian striker.
Lukaku previously played for the Serie A giants between 2019 and 2021 – scoring 47 goals across 72 appearances – until Chelsea snatched him up again in August 2021 for a club record fee of £97.5 million.
Reports claim he is also willing to take a pay cut to get the deal moving, which works in Inter’s favour as they’ve had trouble balancing the books lately.
Lukaku previously rejected flirting from Saudi Arabian clubs in order to continue playing European football, and it is only a matter of time until he returns to Italy.
